Receptionist booked us a taxi who proceeded charge us £12.00 to go 1.8m. Return journy cost us £5.00. We trusted them to reccomend a firm who would not rip us off. Breakfast table was covered in ants, chef could not poach an egg properly.

Bedrooms are rather small but contain everything you need and very nice albeit compact bathroom. Good hot and cold buffet breakfast. Went to Albert Hall - perfect location for walking to the venue.
Top Tip
Lots of good restaurants nearby for pre show meal.

Our room was very small (this is London!) but had everything we needed for a comfortable one night stay.

Our room (downstairs) was small but functional and comfortable. It was ideally situated for short walks (5 to 10 minutes) for the Natural History, Victoria and Albert, and the Science museums. The Royal Albert Hall is about 15mins walk away, so this is a useful hotel to consider. The breakfasts at the hotel were good, with a wide range of choice from a 'full english' to cereals and yoghurt and fruit. We found all the staff to be friendly at all times, and there was no problems getting extra tea/coffee and milk for use with the little kettle in the room. There was also a hairdryer in the room. An iron is available through reception. The only criticism would be the lack of natural light, but as we were only sleeping in the room, thats wasn't an issue for our short stay, but could be on longer stops.
Top Tip
We ate at Pasha, a local morroccan restaurant which included belly dancers. Excellent food and a lovely setting and atmosphere. All the museums we visited are free entry, though do charge for some of the experiences, such as 3d IMAX cinemas showing Deep Sea or Space adventures.

The room was small, but had all necessary facilities. I would use the hotel again for one-night stays, but would feel a bit cramped for longer visits. Very good breakfast! Absolutely fabulous for the South Ken venues - Albert Hall, Nat His, V&A. Also right next to Gloucester Rd tube station, so good for the use of a railcard
