Ideal location for the Albert Hall.Decor is dated but it is clean and comfortable with good buffet breakfast. Communication with staff was sometimes difficult as most were not from this country.
Top Tip
Perfect for visiting Kensington Park, where you can sit by the Sepentine with a coffee or a light meal, and visit the Diana Memorial. Near to the famous V&A, Natural History and Science Museums, and nor too far to walk to Harrods.

Following the relatively easy task of booking a hotel through your organisation, it all went very wrong much to my disappointment and annoyance on the day. The very reason we book that particular hotel “The John Howard” at the top of Queens Gate was its proximity to the Royal Albert Hall, I did not want to walk far or have the expense of taxis, in the end I found myself doing both.
On arriving at the hotel at 16-45 I was told that they were doubled booked and all they had were two single. Whilst they were very sorry that was all they could provide. I stated very clearly that this was unacceptable and insisted that they find accommodation along the line we had booked. After some discussion they agreed to look and after 30 min booked us into “The Kensington Hotel which is at the far end of Queens Gate some 1000 meters. This would not in its self had been too bad but we now found our selves rushing around as we had spent so much time waiting for the hotel room to be found and then walking there.
The Hotel was a very nice and had recently been refurbished however, the room was one of there very small doubles which overall was very disappointing.
I am generally disappointed with the service your company has provided, there was little regarding to the fact that the hotel was double booked, I will seriously looking at using other booking agents in the future.

Reasonably priced, well located, clean with a brilliant breakfast - we couldn't fault this hotel and will certainly go back. About 3 minutes' walk to the Royal Albert Hall, with Hyde Park opposite and two underground station within easy walking distance - ideal.

Lovely buffet breakfast, quiet location, clean room, fresh towels every day. The decoration could do with a refresh but it proved to be the perfect base for us
